Grandma Nasty and a prolapsed vagina

Women's medical distress—a political punchline for Pauline

Belittling and publicly humiliating women. That's a tic of Pauline Hanson's pussy-grabbing, orange aspic hero and role model. Beelzeblubber's misogyny flavours the entirety of human failings that together congealed to form his character, so why would our odious, hennaed harpy Trump acolyte have any qualms about exploiting a debilitating affliction to denigrate a political rival?

Trump on journalist Megyn Kelly:

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever."

Army corporal and now senator Jacqui Lambie spoke out about her experience of vaginal and bladder prolapse in the context of the financial burden veterans can face in accessing treatment for it.

Lambie was mocked in One Nation’s YouTubed Please Explain parodies—“I can’t laugh because of my prolapsed vagina.” Lambie’s condition was treated as a running joke with her character clutching herself each time she got worked up.

“Get over it, okay? It is actually satirical.”

Hanson to  Jacqui Lambie

Almost one in two women who have been pregnant will have experienced prolapse according to The Royal Women's Hospital Victoria. So, circa 20% of the voting public being made fun of? Such is the genius of One Nation's marketing.

I'm comfortable with handing out stigma and ridicule. Suggesting that bear trappers' hats and Hanson's own Sasquatch-grade nether regions are readily confused is a reasonable sledge in my view. However, aiming for political points by mocking Lambie's real medical distress whilst also claiming to be ready to govern is a grubby, local application of the psychopathology of the be-cankled, sausage-fingered Shitgibbon d'Mar-a-Lago.

In the aftermath of the horrendous attack on Indi independent Helen Haines, who is the best of what politics has to offer and the antithesis of Pauline Hanson, the air is thick with hypocrisy and humbug, with calls for greater civility in politics and in social discourse from some of the worst offenders. Metaphorical references to oligarchs & tumbrils aside, there's no place for invocations of violence. However, I see no reason for temperance in evincing the utter bastardry indulged in by the likes of One Nation, its proprietors, its patrons and its subscribers. Any civility will not be returned.

Hanson exploited the Haines incident to attack Albanese and state premiers for failing to stop protest marches, and on schools and universities for actively brainwashing students. Such utter grubbiness from Hanson is not an aberration - it's who she is. An October 2024 episode of her Please Explain parodies ("The State of Melbourne") had Albanese and Daniel Andrews run down by an SUV. All good fun until...

“Those cartoons are despicable. They are revolting.”

Independent MP Zali Steggall—a close friend and political ally of Helen Haines.

When the Jacqui Lambie episode got significant blowback Hanson claimed not to have seen the video before it was published and was not aware of its content. “I have spoken to the creator of that video. I’ve asked him to actually change it, and I respect people’s views and opinions out there, and it wasn’t as tastefully done as it could have been, and I do apologise for that,” she told News24. After she'd defended it as satire. This is the straight shooter, the honest broker, the one who calls it out as she sees it.

The befuddled and the smugly stupid, the defiantly ignorant and the creeps and weirdos who make up Hanson's most dedicated fan base will swallow her self-righteous shite. They are part of the problem. As for the rest of us, call her out and, given events and given her nature, I will defend any deployment of the c-bomb aimed in her direction.

While Helen Haines remains in hospital, she would love for those wishing to show their support to consider making a donation to Save the Children in lieu of flowers or gifts - Show your support for Helen Haines

"The State of Melbourne", the cartoon begins with a reference to Andrews' involvement in a collision with a teenage cyclist before taking a darker turn, depicting politicians — and even Robert Irwin and Bluey — being deliberately run down.

The tumultuous history of Donald Trump and female reporters. International Women's Media Foundation. “What he does is what we would call a micro-assault. It’s not subtle at all. It’s direct, it’s in your face, it’s a tongue lashing, it’s meant to cause harm. And that’s the definition of a micro-assault”.

Thanks Grumpy. Spot on. Hanson and her mob are horrible alright. But what about the evolutionary throwbacks that think ON is the answer.
